HISTORY

Located on the seafront with stunning views over the bay of Palamós and just a few minutes walk from the city centre, the centenary Hotel Trias Hotel Trias opened its doors in June 2005 following a complete renovation. Some renowned personalities such as Truman Capote and Ava Gardner stayed in the hotel and therefore some call it “The Hotel of the Stars”. Its privileged location makes it a striking sea viewpoint.

The town is a major port with one of the last remaining fishing fleets on this part of the mediterranian coast. It is famous for the locally caught prawns (Catalan: gambes).

The hotel has 80 double rooms and 2 Junior suites, all of them with bathroom (shower), television, telephone, complimentary ADSL-FREE WIFI, safety boxes, heating and air conditioned.

The restaurant offers a  wide variety of traditional and Mediterranean cuisine with daily menu and à la carte dishes. The restaurant is open to the general public (daily lunch menu from Monday to Friday for visitors). Daily menu – lunch and dinner – for hotel guests.

“La Corniche”is the new and welcoming beach venue of Hotel Trias. Decorated in pure marine style, it is the ideal setting to enjoy delectable dishes and taste its spectacular cocktails while relaxing with the soothing sound of the sea.

The Ruark bar is an ideal area to relax enjoying a drink or reading a book. During the Summer time, the outside pool and terrace become the meeting point of all guests that enjoy its privileged location with views of the bay of Palamós.
